This Diamond Jubilee year, join the 60 for 60 campaign. As young adults, let’s take this opportunity to get involved, and help build an even stronger and more united Jamat in Canada..
60 for 60 is a campaign to support the Diamond Jubilee Fund. In honour of Mawlana Hazar Imam’s 60 years of Imamat, pledge $6, $60 or $600 each month for 60 months, or choose any amount you wish. You’ll make a profound difference in the lives of our Ismaili brothers and sisters across Canada.
How will your contribution be spent?
The Diamond Jubilee Fund supports these 4 initiatives:
After 2018, your 60 month pledge will automatically be allocated to the Jamati Services Fund, for the remainder of your pledge term. The Jamati Services Fund supports initiatives to address poverty, financial independence, education, health, overall quality of life, religious education and more, benefitting all members of our Jamat across Canada.
You can make your contribution in your local Jamatkhana.
Or, you can make your contribution online.
There are 3 ways to give:
1. Sign-up for the 60 month pledge
By making a pledge during this Diamond Jubilee year, you’re committing to providing a stable source of reliable funding for the term of your pledge. Your contribution helps to deliver a wide range of programs for the benefit of everyone in our Jamat, making our Jamat even stronger, happier and more prosperous.
2. Sign-up for MONTHLY contributions in perpetuity
When you give monthly in perpetuity, you provide an ongoing, stable source of reliable funding, that delivers a wide range of programs and services for the benefit of everyone in our Jamat. Monthly contributions enable better planning and the ability to proactively respond to our Jamat’s evolving needs.
3. Make a One-time contribution
If making a pledge or signing up for monthly isn’t in your budget right now, you can still contribute to the Diamond Jubilee Fund by making a one-time contribution.
Here are 3 great reasons to contribute to the Diamond Jubilee Fund:
First, your contribution to the Diamond Jubilee Fund will make a lasting impact in the lives of many, many Ismailis in Canada. The fund supports programs that give many in our Jamat a helping hand, lifting them out of poverty, providing education support, job support and social support to help them lead self-sufficient, happy and prosperous lives.

Second, your contribution to the Diamond Jubilee Fund will bring the Canadian Jamat together to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Mawlana Hazar Imam - a milestone in the life of the Imam and in our lives, as Murids.
Third, your contribution is respected and valued. In administering the Diamond Jubilee Fund, the Council for Canada is committed to using these funds with due diligence, exclusively for the benefit of the Jamat.
If you have questions about the 60 for 60 initiative, please see the volunteers at the Diamond Jubilee Fund desk in your Jamatkhana, or contact us directly.
Thank you for supporting the Diamond Jubilee Fund.
What is the difference between Nazrana & Diamond Jubilee Fund?
Nazrana is an unconditional gift to the Imam of the Time, and is used by him at his discretion. Contributions to the Diamond Jubilee Fund are administered by the Council for Canada to support initiatives for the Canadian Jamat, and internationally.
Why won’t I get a Tax Credit for contributions to the Diamond Jubilee Fund
Activities and initiatives provided by the Diamond Jubilee Fund are not all charitable activities, for example, celebrations and possible Visit-related expenses. Also, the Council for Canada manages the Diamond Jubilee Funds, and it is not a registered Charity, so it cannot issue receipts for a tax credit.
